Description: Karume Day and Boarding English Medium Primary School started in January 2005 with a nursery class only. It has since added classes up to Primary 4. It is a private school with 160 students (30 boarders). There are 9 teachers using 5 classrooms. Fees per term for day scholars are 185,000 shillings ($160) and 245,000 shillings ($213) for boarders. The school has no other income sources. The school seeks funding from other organizations or donors who can help with funding for construction of new classrooms, girls and boys hostels, a dining hall and an office.
